"Body of Proof" could be heading for a revival. Deadline reports ABC is looking at bringing the Dana Delany medical investigator drama back for a new season after canceling the drama in May.

"Body of Proof" did well in the ratings, much better than "Lucky 7," the show that ABC slotted in its Tuesdays at 10 p.m. timeslot. "Lucky 7" had 4.6 million viewers with a 1.3 rating in the key 18-49 demographic and the last episode of "Body of Proof" had 7.6 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in May 2013. Following its premiere, "Lucky 7's" ratings fell even more and it was the first show to be canceled.

ABC declined to comment on the report and when asked on Twitter, Delany said she was unaware of plans.

"I feel like we had three strong seasons," Delany said. "I would just like to mention that the show that replaced us got half the amount of viewers that we did. I think we did OK. I think they could've kept us a little bit longer and I think they're going to probably regret it."

After ABC canceled "Body of Proof," there was talk of the show moving to a different network, but nothing ever materialized.

Head over to Deadline for more on the potential revival.
