A fourth teen was charged in the rape of a 12-year-old Chicago girl that was eventually posted on Facebook by her attackers in May.

Dyquier Garrett, 16, was charged Friday with aggravated criminal sexual assault and ordered held on $500,000 bail, the Sun-Times reports. Neither prosecutors nor The Cook County State's Attorney's office said what led to Garrett's arrest.

Three other teens, Scandale Fritz and Justin Applewhite, both 16, and Kenneth Brown, 15, were arrested for the rape in May, the Associated Press reports. The three are being held on $900,000 bail each.

The assault happened in December of 2012 at Fritz's home in the city's Englewood neighborhood. According to the Tribune, authorities said the girl had gone to Fritz's home to talk to him when she was forced into the basement by Brown, who had a gun.

Prosecutors said the boys raped the girl and filmed the attack. Prosecutors say Brown is seen in the video holding a gun as the boys shout gang slogans. According to Fox, Fritz was initially ID'd after he briefly turned the camera on himself.

Footage of the attack was posted on the boys' Facebook pages just two days later -- part of what appears to be a troubling and growing trend of posting sexual assaults to social media.

Fritz later provided a handwritten admission to the crime. The three initially charged are due back in court Dec. 11.
