Anderson Cooper Requests 'Bucks Locked In Mortal Combat' For Home: Albany Herald

Anderson Cooper Wants WHAT?!

Anderson Cooper is about to get a very interesting addition to his living room.

The Albany Herald reported Sunday that the CNN host approached taxidermist Grayson Roberts last year to preserve what the newspaper described as "two full-grown Georgia whitetail bucks locked in mortal combat" for display in his home.

Roberts told the Herald that Cooper had one stipulation. "He said, 'I want them to be just like they walked into my living room and started fighting,'" the taxidermist said. The host also wanted the project to be "competition" quality, Roberts added.

The project — which will span 12-14 feet in length when complete — will be done in about two weeks.

Cooper owns a converted firehouse in New York's Greenwich Village, which he finished restoring last year. He purchased the property for $4.3 million in 2010, and also owns a summer home in the Hamptons.
