Ellen DeGeneres Working On Lesbian Comedy At NBC

Ellen DeGeneres is bringing lesbians back to primetime with a new NBC sitcom, according to Deadline.

The multi-camera comedy follows a lesbian and her best male friend. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show picks up with the woman becoming pregnant as her friend meets and marries the love of his life.

DeGeneres and Liz Feldman, a writer on "2 Broke Girls" and who was also a writer for DeGeneres' talk show for two years, will executive producer the untitled comedy. Feldman will write the script.
