It's a lot easier to move in microgravity than in the 1G environment on Earth. In fact, in microgravity a single hair can be used to propel your entire body across the room.
Don't believe us? Check out the video above to see astronaut Karen Nyberg demonstrate the trick aboard the International Space Station. She stretches a strand of her own hair across a handrail, and then pushes off, sending her body tumbling across the room.
This isn't the first time Nyberg's spaced-out hair has been featured in a video. Watch her demonstrate how to wash long locks on the ISS here.
The inspiration behind Nyberg's latest video came when fellow astronaut Cady Coleman told "Gravity" star Sandra Bullock that moving in space was possible with one hair.
Now we know for sure.
