First came the game-time decision. Next was by the pre-game ovation. Lastly, Derrick rose hit the game-winning shot.

Making his first regular-season start in Chicago since April 21, 2012, Rose drained a floater over the outstretched arms of Raymond Felton and Tyson Chandler with 5.7 seconds remaining to lift the Bulls to a 82-81 win over the visiting New York Knicks on Thursday night.

"That's what builds your resume," Rose told reporters after the game, via The Associated Press. "Leaves a mark on your legacy."
