Aaron Rodgers Injured: Packers QB Suffers Shoulder Injury On Sack By Bears' Shea McClellin (VIDEO/GIF)

Aaron Rodgers Injured

The latest installment of "Monday Night Football" turned into a showdown between Josh McCown and Seneca Wallace after Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was knocked out of the game with a left shoulder injury. Rodgers appeared to suffer the injury to his non-throwing shoulder when he was sacked by Bears defensive end Shea McClellin early in the first quarter.

Rodgers was grimacing as he left the field following the sack. After being examined on the sideline, he jogged off the field with Green Bay trainers. A short while later, the team announced that Rodgers was "questionable" to return.

With Rodgers sidelined, Wallace stepped in for the Packers. The eight-year veteran out of Iowa State joined a game already featuring McCown, who was playing due to a groin injury suffered by Jay Cutler. McCown and the Bears prevailed in the second stringer showdown 27-20.

After the game, Packers coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that Rodgers had suffered a shoulder injury but insisted that there was not yet a diagnosis.
