Andrew Luck Talks Replacing Peyton Manning, Jonathan Martin Hazing Controversy

Andrew Luck On Hazed Former Teammate Jonathan Martin: 'I Love Him Like A Brother'

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck never looked at his situation in Indianapolis as if he was replacing Peyton Manning. When second-year signal-caller joined Marc Lamont Hill on HuffPost Live, he was asked if Indianapolis' win over Denver a few weeks ago signified a "changing of the guard."

"I never felt, from day one, that I had to live up to someone's shoes, from guys in the locker room perspective," Luck told Hill. "We have a lot of great leaders and they made me feel welcome from day one which I'm very thankful for."

Luck was also asked about the situation involving suspended Dolphins guard Richie Incognito harassing teammate Jonathan Martin. Luck, Martin's former teammate at Stanford, called the incident "unfortunate" and that he loves Martin "like a brother." Beyond that, Luck didn't care to comment on the Martin situation.
