The first Saturday of November is in the books, and this week offers a trio of games that will have major implications in the race for a spot in the BCS national championship game.

With Week 10 in the rearview mirror, let's take a look at my current bowl projections for the 2013-14 postseason.

As always, of course, these projections are subject to change — especially because these remain very difficult predictions to make.

Key

* Replacement team for a conference that does not have enough bowl-eligible teams.

Notes

- After the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the final Bowl Championship Series standings are placed in the national championship game, contracted BCS bowl slots are taken up and replacement picks are made, the selection order for the final BCS is Orange, Sugar and Fiesta. In addition, the highest-ranked champ from a non-AQ conference is guaranteed a BCS berth if it finishes in the Top 12 or in the Top 16 and ahead of an AQ-conference champ in the final BCS standings.

- Teams appearing in bold have already accepted a bid.
