"Extreme Cheapskates" keeps freaking us out. This week, we met Angel Durr, who was eight months pregnant with her first child. Nevertheless, she was determined to get through this without having to pay for anything. This includes looking for medications and prenatal vitamins while she's dumpster diving ... at eight months pregnant!
"I research all medications before I take them, and I’ve been doing this a very long time. Don’t try this at home," she said with a sly look to the camera. "I think expiration dates in general are kinda hmm..."
She and her husband Orlando built their nursery for nothing, using free paint samples and finding $5,000 worth of furnishings in the garbage. Even the home is an old frat house they picked up cheap because it was in such disrepair. The couple did their own work -- again using things found in the trash. Even Angel's breast pump was built out of an old bike tire pump and parts salvaged from a junk yard.
