NBC News is trying to shake things up a little, according to its latest memo to staffers.

The network recently launched a new program, "Big Idea Bureau," to encourage viewers to share their innovative ideas in order to improve NBC's content and products. NBC News has finally selected the top ten finalists, the network announced in a memo obtained by The Huffington Post on Tuesday.

A glance at the finalists suggests that the network is looking to engage more with millennials and on digital platforms. Below, check out the features that may be coming soon. Each idea submitted will be individually reviewed by the NBCUniversal News Group to decide whether it will be developed further.


Just-in-Credible: "Uses interesting and sharable news in a game format to boost users 'credibility' with friends"

The Bubbler: "A brand that aggregates sharable news targeting Millennials"

Impact Platform: "A platform to enable viewers and users to take action on news stories"

News Rewards: "A rewards program for loyal consumers of News Group brands"

News for the Commute: "A personalized audio product for news consumers on the move"

News Stand: "A news comedy show using news-related content from stand-up comedians"

Digital Live-Stream & Hub for Millennials: "Live, digital one-hour show with user engagement"

MyBirthDay: "Uses archives to create birthday greeting products, potentially partnering with Facebook"

Investor Clubs: "Engage communities in programming and news content"

NBCU College Pulse: "Creating networks and engagement with college students"

The memo also stated that the next round of the "Big Idea Bureau" is set to launch in January.
