Why Sex Gets 'Better And Better And Better' With Age

Why Sex After 50 Is Just Plain Better

Miley Cyrus, eat your heart out -- sex definitely doesn't end after 40. In fact, the best sex doesn't even happen until many years later, according to some.

Senior "sexpert" and author Joan Price says her bedsheets are "an open book" and testament to why the best sex of your life can come much later. Price sat down with HuffPost Live this week for a sex panel and said throughout her life she's had both casual and committed relationships. But the most satisfying sex of her life was after 50 and not as a younger woman.

Beyond your 30s and 40s, you gain a better understanding of what works for you in the bedroom, Price said -- and it doesn't hurt to have a more skilled partner either.

"As the years went on, it got better and better and better, and the best sex I ever had was with the man I met when I was 57 and he was 64," Price said.
