AMC has announced that the undead will rise on Feb. 9 when "The Walking Dead" returns to finish its fourth season.

After last night's (Dec. 1) game-changing mid-season finale, fans will have to wait two months to find out what happens to Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the others as they are once again on the move in the zombie-infested wild.

Entertainment Weekly reports that on "Talking Dead," the post-show talkback, Lincoln teased the final eight episodes of the season to be “the boldest, bravest and most exciting this show has ever attempted.”

"The Walking Dead" returns for the rest of season four on Feb. 9 on AMC.
