Betty White 'Trapped' In A Nutcracker Costume

Betty White is game for anything, and she's certainly had some memorable appearance on one of her favorite late-night haunts. So it wasn't too big of a surprise that the 91-year-old comedy legend was underneath that "Nutcracker" costume on "The Late Late Show." As always, she was ready with a quick joke about her outlandish costume.

When Craig Ferguson took the head of the costume off, White said, "Oh, thank you. I’ve been stuck in that thing for days. I had a hell of a time driving over here. I crashed my Buick right in front of the studio!”

White was there to promote her new Nat Geo Wild special, "Betty White Goes Wild!" The animal lover's special premieres Tuesday night as part of the network's "Big Cat Week." Fans will also get to enjoy seeing White as the face of Sharper Image's holiday campaign. And, of course, she still has her two television shows: "Hot in Cleveland" on TV Land, and "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," moving over to Lifetime.

And she has no plans of retiring. White recently told HuffPost, "Why should I retire from something I love so much? I'm blessed with good health; I'm blessed with being invited to participate in television, so why should I say, 'No, no, I'm retiring.' To do what? Nothing that I could possibly find to do would be as much fun as what I do for a living.”

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
