TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (AP) — Honduras' electoral court says it will recount vote tally sheets for the presidential election after receiving a fraud complaint from second-place candidate Xiomara Castro.

Court president David Matamoros says the recount could begin Monday.

Castro filed a complaint Monday claiming fraud in the Nov. 24 election, which she lost to governing party candidate Juan Orlando Hernandez. She has not released any evidence. She had first said she wanted a full recount of individual ballots, but asked Monday for just a count of polling station tally sheets.

The court's official results gave Hernandez 37 percent to Castro's 29 percent.

Castro charges tally sheets were altered, the voter registry included people who are dead or outside the country, and polling stations were inadequately monitored.
