The #UNSelfie And Other Ways Millennials Are Supporting Giving Tuesday

"Selfie" may be Oxford Dictionary's word of the year, but today marks the day of the "unselfie." And young social do-gooders, in particular, are trading in duck face for this more altruistic photo opp.

The "UNselfie" movement is quickly proliferating as part of the second annual Giving Tuesday, a national day of giving highlighting worthy causes and nonprofits, launched by New York's 92nd Street Y and the United Nations.

To encourage people to participate in charitable activities, Giving Tuesday asks users to post an "#UNselfie" pic on social media -- an image highlighting the cause they support. From celebrities to tweens, the social media movement is fully underway.

Check out the live blog below to see the best UNselfies and what causes young people care about. Want to be part of the #UNselfie movement? Get involved at Giving Tuesday.
