December 5 is Repeal Day, the day that we, as a nation, celebrate the U.S. government coming to its senses and finally repealing the Volstead Act (better known as Prohibition) in 1933. This Repeal Day, we're thankful for our freedom to enjoy single malt whiskies, bourbons, gins, Champagne and everything in between. But there are a few now-legal alcoholic products we wish had stayed prohibited.
In fairness, probably none of these existed in 1933, but if they had, we'd have asked Congress to make a few exceptions. Happy Repeal Day, however you choose to celebrate it!
