For Only The Second Time In 'Survivor' History, Their Fate Comes Down To Rocks (VIDEO)

For Only The Second Time In 'Survivor' History...

Ciera continues to play one of the most unpredictable games on "Survivor: Blood Vs. Water" and she is playing hard. With his back against the wall, Hayden tried to convince Ciera to switch from fourth position in her current alliance to vote with him and Katie. And she did, forcing a deadlock. And it was a deadlock a revote couldn't break.

So, for only the second time in "Survivor" history, it came down to a random draw of a rock. And because "Survivor" is a cruel game, the two people targeted in the deadlocked vote were automatically safe. It was only the people who couldn't reach a consensus who faced possible elimination. Gervase had the Immunity necklace and the votes were split between Monica and Hayden. That meant either Ciera, Katie or Tyson would go home.

Katie and Ciera were gambling that Tyson would draw the white rock and get sent packing, but it was Katie who saw her time in the game come to an end. At least she got to reunite with her mother, Tina, on Redemption Island. "It would've been amazing if either Tyson or Ciera had gotten eliminated" wrote Zap2It's Andrea Reiher. "Katie is the easiest outcome. Hmph. However, this leaves a more interesting dynamic in the tribe, so that's cool. Because Hayden lives to fight another day and if he's got Ciera and Laura comes back into the game? Or Katie or Tina? They'll go with Hayden/Ciera. So yeah, this game just got INTERESTING.”

It all comes to an end next week as "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" wraps up with an episode on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST followed by the two-hour season finale on Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
