Robinson Cano is leaving the Bronx for Seattle, according to media reports.

Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes tweeted that the 31-year-old slugger and the Mariners agreed to a 10-year deal worth $240 million and that a physical has been scheduled. Both Jon Heyman of CBS Sports and Jon Morosi of FOX Sports soon also reported that a deal is in place.

The New York Daily News reported early Friday morning that talks between Cano and the Mariners had hit a snag when agent/rap mogul Jay Z upped the demands. But negotiations were apparently still in the works later in the morning as both sides reportedly hammered out a massive deal.
