Oklahoma State's Ben Grogan Kicked A Field Goal During An Earthquake Because Bedlam

Kicker Nails 'Bedlam' Field Goal During Earthquake

Ben Grogan may kick longer field goals. He may even attempt ones under great pressure. But Oklahoma State's freshman kicker will never face a kick with a degree of difficulty like the one he attempted -- and made -- against Oklahoma.

The in-state rivals were renewing their "Bedlam" rivalry at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater on Saturday afternoon when an earthquake centered near Oklahoma City occurred.

With the ground reportedly shaking underneath him and the fans roaring around him, Grogan's 41-yard attempt sailed through the uprights to give the Cowboys an early 10-7 lead.

Understandably, the school was not immediately prepared to comment on the potentially historic nature of the kick.
