Bill Brasky Returns To 'SNL' After 15 Years

Posted: Updated:

On last night's "Saturday Night Live," we saw the return of a classic Will Ferrell recurring sketch from his days as an "SNL" cast member: The legend of Bill Brasky.

The premise is simple. A group of slurring businessmen with giant, fake teeth sit around a table drinking mugs of whiskey as they recount tales of a salesman named Bill Brasky, whose physical description and superhuman feats grow larger with each passing story. (Example: "Like an alligator, he can fully digest a turtle shell!")

Ferrell developed the sketch back in 1996 alongside then-"SNL" writer Adam McKay, long before the two worked together on films like "Anchorman" and co-founding Funny or Die. Bill Brasky had disappeared since 1998, but with Ferrell's cameo on "SNL" alongside host and his "Anchorman 2" co-star Paul Rudd, Ferrell and McKay pitched in to contribute the return of Brasky. David Koechner, who also appeared as an original Brasky buddy, came back as well.

Just like the first Brasky sketch, this one was performed right before the ending credits at 1 a.m. Check out the clip to find out what Bill Brasky has been up to all these years.
