In what could be a preview of a things to come, the exterior ramp towers outside of the Astrodome were demolished on Sunday. The demolition took only a matter of seconds, reported KHOU-TV. Reliant Park General Manager Mark Miller previously told the Houston Chronicle that the towers were scheduled to come down regardless of the outcome of a Nov. 5 vote on the long-term fate of the structure.
