Jason Momoa is negotiating to join the Batman vs. Superman film Warner Bros. is planning as a follow-up to "Man of Steel." According to THR, there's no word yet on what role the former "Game of Thrones" star will play, but speculation is that he could either be a villain or a member of the Justice League.

Momoa joins a growing cast that already includes Ben Affleck (as Batman), Henry Cavill (as Superman), Amy Adams (as Lois Lane) and Gal Gadot (as Wonder Woman). Gadot, who rose to fame thanks to the "Fast and Furious" franchise, was cast in the project last week.

Zack Snyder is set to direct "Man of Steel 2," which is due out in theaters on July 17, 2015. More on Momoa's casting, including the key roles he could play, can be found at THR.
