"Friday" singer Rebecca Black recently stunned us with her latest viral hit, "Saturday." The title left some internet users nervous with the thought that Black's next single would detail her typical Sunday, with the one after that focusing on the 16-year-old's Monday itinerary.

Never fear, though, as it turns out that decades' worth of musicians have beaten Black to one-a-day punch. Here’s a musical calendar of hit songs that should play Rebecca Black into an early retirement:

  • Monday

    "Manic Monday" by The Bangles
  • Tuesday

    "Tuesday's Gone" by Lynyrd Skynyrd
  • Wednesday

"Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M." by Simon & Garfunkel
  • Thursday

    "Thursday" by Asobi Seksu
  • Friday

"Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" by Katy Perry
  • Saturday

"One More Saturday Night" by The Grateful Dead
  • Sunday

So, no need, Ms. Black. The music industry has it covered. Sing about something else.
