Keeping up a long-time HuffPost holiday tradition, Arianna gave HuffPosters around the world holiday sweaters last week. The holiday cheer this year came from five different brands.
There are plenty of HuffPost editors in the newsroom who will find themselves twinning this winter. But the brands we picked represent a variety of styles to suit everyone's fashion sense -- and keep everyone warm:
J. Crew: HuffPost has long ordered J. Crew sweaters, and this year the selection skewed classic. For the women we picked picked fine-gauge, crew neck sweaters with three-quarter length sleeves in solid colors -- perfect for layering. For the guys, it was solid-colored crew neck and v-neck versions with stylish suede elbow patches.
Kenneth Cole: Channeling the best of Kenneth Cole's urban sleek, aesthetic, men got black zip-up sweaters with lightweight "ripstop" material on the shoulders.
D.ra: This smaller, indie brand specializes in the beloved "slouchy" sweater. We went with slightly cropped striped versions in black, gray and tan.
L.L. Bean Signature Collection: Nothing says winter like a chunky-knit L.L. Bean sweater. The ivory fisherman piece we picked will never go out of style.
White & Warren: This line is all about luxe cashmere, so the men got soft yet understated sweaters in solid hues they can wear with everything.
