Anderson Cooper And Kathy Griffin Are Back For New Year's, Again

THEY'RE BACK!

CNN's New Year's Eve special promises to be full of hijinks again when Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin return as co-hosts this year.

It will be the seventh year that the duo has hosted together and it's never boring, to say the least. Last year, Cooper spent the night dodging Griffin's sexual antics. The year before, she stripped down to her bra (there was a "no nudity" sign on set the following year) and declared that she had a crush on CNN analyst David Gergen. And let's not forget the time she dropped the f-bomb, tried to undress her co-host and shouted at a heckler.

“Wait...what? CNN hired her again? For real?” Cooper joked in a statement from CNN on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Griffin said, “I’m so thrilled Anderson Cooper has agreed to be my assistant once again as I single-handedly host New Year's Eve on CNN for my global adoring audience.”

"New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin" will air on CNN December 31 from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET.
