We've been obsessing over HuffPost World fellow Antonia Blumberg's curls for a few months now. (We professed our love for her thick, curly hair when we first met.) But, of course, the Los Angeles native told us that she doesn't exactly feel the same way.
"My hair is an ongoing relationship," she said. "Every time I see someone with hair remotely like mine, I'm like, 'How do you do your hair?' I'm trying to get all the secrets."
Antonia may covet other curly girls' hair definition, but we think she's on the right path to maintaining her locks. She washes her hair every two days with drugstore shampoo, and then uses her fingers to comb through a combination of L'Anza leave-in conditioner, Alba Botanica frizz-free serum and, on occasion, Josie Maran argan oil (which also doubles as face moisturizer).
When it comes to deep conditioning treatments, Antonia prefers to use olive oil. She explained, "I have so much hair, so I put on more than the two to three tablespoons a normal head of hair would use and leave it in for a couple hours."
Plus, she doesn't use a blow dryer or diffuser. "It just makes my hair even bigger," said Antonia. Less heat is essential to achieving healthier hair!
