Hours before Florida State took the field in the BCS National Championship Game, a female fan was spotted expressing her love for the team's quarterback with a T-shirt seemingly referencing the allegation of sexual assault against him that was investigated during the season.

Jameis Winston, the Seminoles' Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, was embroiled in a sexual assault scandal during his breakout season. The 20-year-old redshirt freshman was accused of raping a woman in December 2012 and the allegation became public during the 2013 season. While the accusation was being investigated, Winston's attorney claimed the quarterback and the alleged victim engaged in consensual sex. Less than two weeks before being named the winner of the Heisman Trophy in December 2013, Winston learned that he would not face charges related to the allegation against him.
Approximately a month after that, this woman apparently felt the situation was fodder for a T-shirt slogan. The image of the fan's shirt drew quite a reaction on Twitter, much of it negative.
