Who Makes The Best Coffee Beans For Home Brewing? (DEATHMATCH)

Is Folgers still America's favorite home-brewed coffee or has Starbucks taken over?

When it comes to coffee, we don't like to mess around. We like it fresh, hot and perfectly brewed. Sure there are people out there who will drink coffee in any shape or form; they like to think of themselves as die-hard fans, but we just think they're weirdos. Since we've been lucky enough in our lives to drink really, really good cups of coffee, we understand what a waste it is to drink a bad one. And we also know the secret to drinking a great cup: it's as simple as starting with good beans.

We're not talking about spending $60 on just 4 ounces of Kopi Luwak (also known as cat poop coffee), but just picking the best beans at the supermarket. There are many kinds to choose from, and it can be overwhelming. So to make sure we all get it right, we want to know: what do you think is the best brand of coffee beans you can buy at the grocery store? Let us know by voting in the deathmatch below!

  • Round One voting opens January 7 -- vote right now!
  • Wednesday, January 8 at 12:00am Eastern, Round Two opens.
  • Thursday, January 9 at 12:00am Eastern, you'll be able to vote in Round Three.
  • Friday morning, January 10, we'll announce which coffee is the winner!
