Melissa McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone have been able to keep the spark in their relationship alive, even after eight years of marriage.

How do they do it? At the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards on Sunday, the "Bridesmaids" actress confessed to Closer Weekly that it hasn't actually been much of a challenge and that working together is the key to their successful union.

“We met working at the Groundlings Theatre, it's just kind of easy," she said. "I don't know, I think we do what everybody else does."

Falcone -- who appeared alongside his wife in "Bridesmaids" -- agreed that working together has benefitted their relationship.

“Movies require traveling and long hours so these were hours we were able to spend together," he said. "It actually created more time for us to spend together.”

The pair met in 1998 in a comedy writing class at the Groundlings in Los Angeles. They got married in 2005 and have two daughters together.

In the July/August 2013 issue of More magazine, McCarthy said she "got hit with the lucky stick with Ben."

"I feel like I have two great kids and the dreamiest husband on the planet, and everything else is just a work in progress."
