Yep, 'Real Life Twitter' Is Just As Hilariously Depressing As You'd Imagine (VIDEO)

WATCH: This Is What Twitter Would be Like IRL

What would Twitter be like in real life?

For starters, there'd be gold stickers everywhere, and followers would literally follow you. Naturally, wit would be rewarded, while spam and disagreeable nonsense would drop your influence. And teenagers? Teenagers would have all the power.

At least, that's the reality dreamed up by the Grawlix, a Denver comedy group that teamed up with local filmmakers the Nix Bros to produce "Real Life Twitter." (Warning: Video contains NSFW language.)

"I'm totally hooked on Twitter, despite realizing how arbitrary and insane it is to let my ego be kicked around on a system of little gold stars," Andrew Orvedahl, one of the brains behind the skit, said in an email to The Huffington Post. "I wanted to see what that would actually look like in real life, and of course, it looks ridiculous."

The video provides an amusing insight into the digital realm, ultimately concluding, as the Nix Bros write in their video description, "If life were like Twitter it would be about as satisfying as it sounds."
