'Fuddy Duddy' Reporter Buys Legal Weed For First Time And Destroys It, All In The Name Of Journalism

Square Reporter Gets His Revenge On Legal Weed

Coloradoan reporter Trevor Hughes bought legal marijuana for the first time in his life, only to then promptly destroy it.

All in the name of journalism!

"I'm in east Denver today to bring you a story that I'm a little nervous about," Hughes says as he introduces his video segment for the newspaper. "I'm standing outside a retail marijuana store -- that's right, this is a place that you can walk in and buy up to an ounce of pot at a time just for your own fun. Now I've never done pot -- I've never bought it, I've never used it, I've never even smoked a cigarette -- I'm kind of a square, probably a little bit of a fuddy-duddy."

Hughes says he bought one gram of Blue Dream, a sativa-indica hybrid strain from the Denver dispensary with his paper's expense account.

But Hughes does not sample his legal weed, instead he takes it to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office to be destroyed, killing buzzes all across the Internet in the process.
