Sarah Michelle Gellar stepped onto the stage and back in time at Wednesday's (Jan. 8) People's Choice Awards.
Gellar was titled Favorite Actress in a New TV Series for her work on CBS' "The Crazy Ones."
This was Gellar's first People's Choice Award and she used her time on stage to give an acceptance speech that was worth an award in and of itself. After acknowledging and thanking the relevant cast and crew members of "The Crazy Ones," she turned her attention to a much older project.
"For seven years, I had the privilege to be a part of one of the most amazing television shows and I've never gotten the chance to publicly thank them, the cast, the crew, and all the fans of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," so thank you!"
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" has been off the air for more than 10 years now, but Gellar clearly hasn't lost any of her love for or devotion to the show. She also took to Twitter to thank her fans for her award and their loyalty to "Buffy."
