Heather Koon Took Photos Of Children In A Sexual Behavior: Prosecutors

Bombshell In Case Against Accused Child Rapist

An Ohio woman who allegedly raped four young children at the daycare where she worked also took sexually explicit photos of kids at a school, according to prosecutors.

Heather Koon faces four counts of child rape after police discovered videos of her allegedly sexually abusing children as young as 1-year-old at ABC Kidz Child Care in October. Prosecutors said Koon committed the acts and filmed them at the request of her lover, James Osborne, a convicted sex offender.

Court documents obtained by the Morning Journal report that Koon allegedly abused each of her four victims in the employee restroom at ABC Kidz. The documents also state that she took photos of the children in a sexual behavior, and that she took additional sexually explicit photos of a 3-year-old at Country Day School, where she also worked at the time.

Additional charges against Koon and Osborne were filed in December after more evidence was discovered.

Koon, who has pleaded not guilty, now faces a 40-count indictment including charges of rape, kidnapping, pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, conspiracy and tampering with evidence.

Osborne faces an 80-count indictment.

She and Osborne were arrested within hours of each other Oct. 4 after police found videos of Koon allegedly raping her victims on a laptop at her boyfriend's house. Osborne's attorney acknowledged that his client was in possession an explicit image of a preteen girl, but said that Osborne downloaded it from the Internet, according to the Chronicle-Telegram.

If convicted, Koon, 25, could face life in prison.
