LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say an unemployed chef who turned himself in at a Las Vegas police station described in bloody detail how he stabbed his wife to death in their apartment kitchen, and said he'd do it again.
Richard Magdayo Dahan was held Monday at the Clark County jail pending a Wednesday court appearance. He surrendered to authorities Friday.
The 40-year-old Dahan told police his wife, Daisy Dahan, was sitting at the kitchen table when he attacked her with a chef knife, a meat cleaver and a filet knife.
Richard Dahan told police he was a kidney transplant recipient who lost his job as a chef at a casino.
According to police, Dahan said his 28-year-old wife wanted a divorce after a little more than two years of marriage, but he wanted to stay together.
