Just when you think fashion designers can't shock you anymore, Fendi goes and covers the runway with fur.
At the Fendi menswear show in Milan on Monday, the male models walked a runway covered with "an endless carpet of long-haired goat fur," Women's Wear Daily reports. The clothes also bore their fair share of fur in the form of elaborate collars and hoods, not to mention leather stamped to look like alligator skin.
But editors and bloggers watching on couldn't get over Silvia Venturini Fendi's furry choice of carpet and backdrop. And yes, it would appear it is actually real fur. Check it out.
