Since the premiere of "Sleepy Hollow," Ichabod Crane has been running around in modern times wearing clothing that's centuries out of date. This week, he tried something new. Ichabod is a lean man, but it was probably a bit much to think he was ready to be comfortable in skinny jeans!
Upon seeing him, Abbie said, "“Hell hath frozen over.” He couldn't agree more. In fact, he couldn't even sit down. As he put it, "One sign of the impending apocalypse is surely skinny jeans.”
It's those kind of light moments that have made "Sleepy Hollow" one of the most refreshing new shows of the season. Alas, it was too brief for Entertainment Weekly's Hillary Busis. "Like all beautiful moments, our glimpse of Crane clad in modern-day garb -- sorry, finery -- was all too fleeting," she wrote. "Who has time for a chick flick-style shopping montage when there's evil afoot?”
Will we see more modern fashions in the two-hour season finale of "Sleepy Hollow," next Monday at 8 p.m. EST on Fox?
