Jon Stewart Goes Off On Bill De Blasio Over Pizza-Fork-Gate

Last week, Bill de Blasio was caught eating pizza with a knife and fork. Plenty of pundits made fun of this, but nobody was more upset than "Daily Show" host and known New York City pizza purist Jon Stewart.

"You're supposed to be champion of the middle class!" Stewart exclaimed. "Two weeks into your term, and we catch you eating pizza a la Trump?"

De Blasio's excuse was in his ancestral homeland of Italy, people often eat pizza with a knife and fork, but Stewart didn't buy it. "Were you elected the mayor of Italy?" he said. "Look out the window. You see the Sistine Chapel or Leaning Tower of Pisa? No, you don't. You see several junkyards and a tanning salon. You know why? Because you're in f**king Staten Island!"

While Stewart did not get as angry at de Blasio as he did at those who suggested Chicago deep-dish pizza was better than New York pizza, public figures should be warned that if you are caught eating New York pizza with an unorthodox approach, you will inspire Stewart's wrath. (Macaluay Culkin, you should be safe.)
