Cate Blanchett's Vogue Australia Cover Only Vaguely Resembles Her (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: What Has Vogue Done To Cate Blanchett's Face?

Whether or not you're into Cate Blanchett's polarizing fashion sense, we're pretty sure everyone can agree that the woman has great skin.

So why would Vogue Australia slap a jarringly orange faux glow over Cate's alabaster complexion? The actress covers the mag's February 2014 issue wearing a bronze metallic Gucci suit, but it seems the stylists felt it necessary to match her skin to the fabric. Considering that Cate's the face of SK II and a known sunscreen enthusiast, this was a move that would require buckets of bronzer. (UV rays are bad, folks!)

Or maybe just a little Photoshop. It's hard to tell. But when you compare Cate's Vogue Australia cover to her recent one for American Vogue, it's easy to see that the Aussies made her look like the Tan Mom version of herself.
