Pam McGee is a former WNBA Hall of Famer, a single mom and a breast cancer survivor. She's been through it all with her son, Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee. "JaVale has been one of the staples in my life," Pam says in the above video. "Since I've been playing basketball, he was next to me in a stroller."
Now it's JaVale's turn on the court, and Pam balances being both his mom and business manager. In the new OWN original series "Mom's Got Game," cameras follow along as Pam visits her 25-year-old son's new summer home for the first time. Pam has no idea what to expect -– but she's pleasantly surprised.
"Ooh, JaVale, I'm impressed!" Pam says when she walks through the front door.
As JaVale gives his mom a tour, Pam comments on the décor. "The Moroccan vibe, I got it," Pam says.
Confused, JaVale thinks his mom is just making an assumption. "How do you know this? It does not say 'Made in Morocco' on the tag," JaVale says.
"Because I'm global," Pam quips back.
