Author Greg McKeown: You Really Can't Do It All

Greg McKeown, author of "Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less," stopped by HuffPost Live and gave some advice to entrepreneurs who want to do it all.

"The temptation all over the place... is to do more," McKeown said. "The brutal reality of trade-offs is you can not. The only question is, who gets to decide the things you say no to?"

McKeown said entrepreneurs should "narrow their focus" and only pursue things that need the most attention.

"I feel like there is a way, amidst all this noise and different priority, to find one priority, and I think that matters," McKeown said when asked about tackling major issues like income inequality and climate change.

"I see people well-intended talking about 'this thing is important, and this thing is important, and this thing is important,'" he said. "In the end you have to figure out the one thing that is a priority."
