It looks like Eliza Coupe is getting her happy ending.
According to Deadline, "Benched," a comedy starring the "Happy Endings" alum, has received a series order from USA.
“'Benched' is one of those unique series that creates an immediate connection with the audience,” USA Network president Chris McCumber said. “The lead is played brilliantly by Eliza Coupe, who has undeniable chemistry with Jay Harrington’s character."
"Benched" centers on Nina (Coupe), a "career-driven corporate attorney" who breaks down after not getting the promotion she expected. Harrington will play Nina's colleague Phil, a public defender who loves to gamble.
Although this isn't her first role since "Happy Endings" -- Coupe nabbed recurring roles on both "House Of Lies" and "The Millers" -- this is her first official series.
Getting excited yet? We are.
