If Kristen Stewart Can Sleep In Her Makeup, Can You Do The Same?

Posted: Updated:

Nothing upsets dermatologists more than these four words: I sleep in makeup.

Time and again, our derms have bemoaned our nighttime laziness, warning us that free radicals in makeup can lead to fine lines, clogged pores and aggravated acne. But Kristen Stewart is above the rules, it seems. She sat down with Into The Gloss recently and admitted, "I never take off my eyeliner or my mascara because it looks so good the next day." But really, never? "I think I’ve never really had clean eyes," she added.

The whole smudged makeup look is kind of Kristen's thing -- and it really works for her. Plus, there seems to be a whole world of smudged eye makeup tutorials out there, so other people at the very least want to look like they've just rolled out of bed after a long evening out on the town. And hey, maybe K-Stew's precious skin is too sensitive for those harsh makeup wipes?

Either way, we're taking Kristen's sleeping-in-makeup endorsement as our free pass to do the same this weekend. Yah, we'll see how that leaves our skin come Monday...
