With shows like "Hot in Cleveland" and "The Exes," TV Land has established itself as a network filled with multi-camera comedies that harken back to the classic sitcoms of the '70s, '80s and '90s. Now, however, the network is jumping into the future -- or more recent past, more accurately -- with its first single-camera comedy, "Jennifer Falls."

In the new series, Jaime Pressly, best known as Joy Turner on NBC's "My Name Is Earl," portrays the classic sitcom my-life-has-just-fallen-apart protagonist, Jennifer Doyle. The show follows Jennifer's fall from her high-powered job, which results in her to move back in with her mother, dragging her teenage daughter along for the ride. Jessica Walter ("Arrested Development," "Archer") is on board as her mother.

Originally developed as a multi-camera show, the pilot was ultimately shot in the single-camera style that's become more prevalent on network television with shows like "Community" and "Modern Family." On the strength of that pilot, the network has given the show a full series order.
