Legends: Classic Clip Of Pete Seeger On 'The Johnny Cash Show' In 1970

Pete Seeger, a pioneer of folk music and powerful political activist, died on Monday at age 94. Over a career spanning decades, the banjo-picking troubadour helped popularize folk music through songs including "If I Had a Hammer," "Turn, Turn, Turn," "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" and "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine."

Though he shied away from the "show business" as The Atlantic notes, he made an appearance on the Johnny Cash Show in 1970. Watch the two legends share a stage in the video above.
