Magic On Rodman's North Korea Trip: 'It's Pathetic'

Dennis Rodman’s most recent trip to North Korea has caused more controversy than he expected. After the former NBA all-star participated in an exhibition basketball game earlier this month marking the birthday of North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un, Magic Johnson said he thinks his co-athlete's actions were “pathetic.”

The NBA legend expressed his thoughts on Rodman to Jay Leno earlier this week during a recent appearance on the “Tonight Show.”

“It’s pathetic. And also, you can’t go to a place that is trying to harm us,” he said. “I wasn’t too happy about him going over there, and then you’re taking a team over to play. Everybody over there is probably this high so of course you should win the game. They’re not tall. And they (Dennis’ team) still lost.”
