Is your love life lacking? Then it may be time to get a new car.
According to research conducted by Insure.com, there are certain cars that will get the gals and guys to notice you. The independent consumer insurance website surveyed 1,000 men and 1,000 women over the age of 18 with a valid driver’s license to find out “what type, brand and color of vehicle are driven by the most fetching members of the opposite sex.”
Using information reported by Insure.com, The Huffington Post set out to find the cars that are most likely to get you noticed by the man or woman who currently has your heart. Here's what we came up with:
Then spend $24,890 on a black Ford F-150 pickup truck
(though you'll have to fork over extra if you want to impress her with gadgets like power windows and locks).
Insure.com found that 32 percent of women said pickup trucks are the vehicles of choice for attractive men. (Sports cars were a close second.)
Women also said good-looking fellas drive cars made by Ford, with 16 percent swooning over the famous blue oval badge. Chevrolet was the runner-up, with a cool 13 percent of women saying attractive men drive cars with the gold bow tie.
Finally, 53 percent of women said black, the notorious heat-conducting color
, was the color of choice for attractive men. Silver came in a distant second.
Then get a red BMW sports car. The report doesn't specify a model, so may we suggest the $32,100 BMW 2-Series sports coupe in Melbourne Red
(a $550 option)?
Insure.com reports that 39 percent of men said attractive women drive sports cars. Furthermore, 16 percent said good-looking ladies drive a BMW, and 14 percent said they drive a Mercedes-Benz.
Finally, 40 percent of men said attractive women drive red cars, and 23 percent said they drive black cars.
