Body spray is the key to world peace?

Fragrance and personal hygiene maker Axe has made a name for itself with an advertising strategy that could be described as "babes and bros." Axe's 2014 Super Bowl commercial is a bit of a change, promoting the company's new Axe Peace line with a cinematic spot that features scary-looking world leaders choosing love over war -- presumably because of Axe.

“If it’s surprising, it’s designed to be surprising,” Matthew McCarthy, Axe’s senior marketing director told Time. “That’s one of the ways that we’ve found over the years is the best way to present an idea.”

Not surprisingly, the commercial's tag is line, "Make Love, Not War," ensuring a bit of that not-so-subtle sexual undertone Axe is known for.
