Mika Brzezinski Backs Dylan Farrow, Condemns Woody Allen

Mika Brzezinski Speaks Out About Woody Allen Allegations

Mika Brzezinski did not buy into actor Woody Allen's recent dismissal of his adoptive daughter's allegations that he sexually assaulted her as a child.

"I believe her," she said of Dylan Farrow on Monday's "Morning Joe." "I'm never going to a Woody Allen movie again. I will say it, I believe her."

Farrow spoke out in an open letter to Allen on Saturday:

"What’s your favorite Woody Allen movie? Before you answer, you should know: when I was seven years old, Woody Allen took me by the hand and led me into a dim, closet-like attic on the second floor of our house. He told me to lay on my stomach and play with my brother’s electric train set. Then he sexually assaulted me."

The 78-year-old actor has since responded to his daughter's claims, calling them "untrue and disgraceful." But the "Morning Joe" crew stood behind Farrow and called the situation is a "nightmare" for her.

"Think of it through her eyes now," Joe Scarborough said, "as this woman who says that she has had this destroying her life and she sits there while Hollywood stars line up one after another after another after another to pay homage and praise to Woody Allen."
