New Yorkers vs. Puddles: The Epic Battle Continues (PHOTOS)

Posted: Updated:

After another winter storm bore down on the Northeast this week, New York City was blanketed with snow, which quickly turned into gray slush, which soon turned into gigantic puddles of dirt and grime.

So aside from long, terrible commutes, New Yorkers had another enemy to deal with: the dreaded puddle.

The puddles of slush were not limited to a certain part of the city.

And they weren't shallow.

In fact, some were quite large.

A few puddles even blocked entrances to subway stations (to the trains that were working, anyway).

Not even dogs were safe from the dreaded slush.

So New Yorkers did what they always do: They made do.

They strapped on their boots and trudged on through.

As the New York Daily News notes, some even made a sport of it.

While others just stared at their enemy with disdain.

Stay dry out there, friends.
